Operation Toofan 2.0 – Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat Level Inauguration

As part of the state-level inauguration of the ‘Operation Toofan 2.0’ project, which was held at A.R. Nagar Grama Panchayat, Malappuram, on 28 September 2026 at 11:00 AM, and inaugurated by the Hon’ble Kerala Minister for Home Affairs, the Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat-level inauguration of the ‘Operation Toofan 2.0’ project was conducted.
The programme was inaugurated by Smt. Manju V.M., President, Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat, by hoisting the Toofan 2.0 flag.
The meeting was presided over by Shri Sajeev J., Vice President, Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat.
As part of the Operation Toofan 2.0 project, the pledge was administered by Shri Chandramohan, ASI, Kunnikkode Police Station.
The President of Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat announced the Toofan 2.0 Warriors and distributed the ‘Toofan Warrior’ badges.
Following this, Shri Chandramohan, Retired Excise Sub-Inspector, led an awareness session on anti-drug activities and prevention of substance abuse.
The state-level inauguration ceremony of the Operation Toofan 2.0 project, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Kerala Minister for Home Affairs, Shri Ramesh Chennithala, was also live-streamed during the programme.
Around 85 participants, including elected representatives and employees of Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat, Haritha Karma Sena members, Kudumbashree members, Student Police Cadets, and implementing officers, attended the programme.
Kumari Anha Sahiba J.N., Secretary, Vilakkudy Grama Panchayat, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded at 1:00 PM.
